After COVID-19 started to decline, Phuket Island was the first place in Asia to open up and I went there October 17, 2021.
I was there a few months before I got a job teaching high school in two small towns in northeast Thailand's Isan region.
After two semesters I was told I could no longer teach due to my age. I was then 65. But, I could still do online teaching with former students and their friends in China and I did editing for pre-publication medical research articles done primarily in China's universities and hospitals.
After Phuket I moved to Chiang Mai and researched and wrote four articles for Kung Fu Magazine. One has already been published, Part 39. Three are queued for publication in the near future.

Taekwondo Times magazine however had money problems a few years ago and started requiring writers buy large numbers of magazines to publish in that magazine. That was/is obviously not practical for me. I have since found a new online Taekwondo Magazine.
Below are documents relating the work I have done since I arrived in Kuala Lumpur. FYI, and am not paid by those magazines and have always traveled on tourist visas.

Silk Road Traveler's New Work in Malaysia - to Date

Because Kung Fu Magazine has a long queue list, I'm only focusing on Taekwondo and cultural background materials at this time.
FYI, I usually include both indigenous cultural and martial art background material to my articles. Because I've traveled in both Buddhist East Asia and Islamic West Asia more of the spiritual side of that background material has related to Buddhism and Islam Iconic locations. Malaysia however is more ethnically diverse, and given there is a large very ornate Hindu Temple near my rented room, I'm also including that and the South Indian martial art called "Silambam" along as part of my series of articles.
